I am the lead writer for the Desktop User Guide (DUG) and am delighted with the renewed interest in getting the DUG up-to-date and complete for Fedora 8. Here are links to the mailing list where I try to explain what's going on with the DUG. The second one is probably more useful. http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-docs-list/2007-December/msg00035.html http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-docs-list/2007-December/msg00047.html A good way to get up-to-speed with what's happening around the Fedora Project, including the Documentation Project, is the Fedora Weekly News (FWN). You can always see the most current edition at: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FWN/LatestIssue Don't worry if you can't make heads nor tails of some of the articles in the FWN - neither can I. The important thing is to get a sense of what the priorities are at the moment. One of the priorities for the Docs Project right now is to finish up the DUG so we can publish it before the release of Fedora 9. I hope that helps.
