Sorry to reply to myself, but Jesse Keating just dropped the following late-breaking info in #fedora-docs: 14:20 < f13> stickster_work: hey, there are a couple hot items for the release announcement of test3. 1) if your install method was DVD (maybe even nfs iso) pirut may crash when you run it with a traceback about HAL. Dropping to the console and yum upgrading at least pirut should fix this. 14:20 < f13> 2) knetworkmanager is not functional, but it is known to not be functional and will be fixed/replaced before F8 final. Jason, could you confirm that you'll have these in the draft announcement tonight*? You can post it on the wiki under, say: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F8Test3/ReleaseAnnouncement Or an equally good or better place of your choosing. :-) Thanks for volunteering to do this. P.S. We should *not* put these in the Release Notes at Docs/Beats since they are hopefully ephemeral issues. P.P.S. *I know I said Monday night originally, but it's going out Thursday morning, so tonight would work. Please leave us about 24 hours to nitpick on it before it goes out, thanks! -- Paul W.
