Name: Magnus Glantz City, Country: Malmö, Sweden Profession: IT/Application specialist Company: TeliaSonera, http://www.teliasonera.com Your goals in the Fedora Project -Contributing and learning more about open source projects. What do you want to write about? -I'm not that picky. Useful stuff, which should cover most. What other documentation do you want to see published? -Documentation is a core thing of development and troubleshooting, everything that people might need to develop or troubleshoot needs to be documented.. Do you want to edit for grammar/writing and/or technical accuracy? -I'd like to eat and keep different cakes. Historical qualifications What other projects or writing have you worked on in the past? -Not any projects within the Fedora Project. I've contributed some code to the Nagios project (http://www.nagios.org). I'm a representative for my company in Calibration, an european industrial OSS network (comes from EU FP6 project Calibre, http://www.calibre.ie). I'm also a co-founder of one of Swedens first industrial OSS networks, called NOSA (Network for Open Source Activity). That and company internal OSS projects. What level and type of computer skills do you have? -I guess I'm a Linux power user. I don't code that much. I took a RHCT 2006 and are aiming at getting my RHCE soon (tm). What other skills do you have that might be applicable? User interface design, other so-called soft skills (people skills), programming, etc. -General people skills, a bit of a motivator perhaps. What makes you an excellent match for the project? -I'm motivated to contribute. My motivation here is to make it easier for others to adapt to Fedora Core. It's also about breaking the evil circle and being a part of something big.
