Regarding the edit rights on the wiki you need to create a wiki account and sign the CLA.

And now for the possibly daft question but how do we actually know where
help is required because I will have to assume a lot of things are
actually being done in the background.
Who does what/need help?
I'd be game on the managing storage module for instance...
Also i don't seem to have edit rights on the wiki :(
Any help or pointers greatly appreciated.
