OT: emacs and po-mode

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I hope someone uses Emacs' po-mode. I'm having trouble with masquerading of special characters like "\". Backslashes are used for line breaks in no-wrap content ("\n") and Emacs' behaviour is especially annoing in this context.

If you open a po file in Emacs you get "\\n" for every original "\n", the next session results in "\\\\n", the on after that in "\\\\\\n" and so on.

It's a FC5 system with Emacs 21.4.1
Any ideas?

Regards,
Tom
