Karsten,

This is what FedoraLinks.org started out as, I am all for moving on this
by creating the FC5 links section so we can be proactive rather than
reactive to questions we know will be asked. 

One concern you mentioned is if we can change links later as information
moves from one site to another, fp.o/wiki/Docs/Beats/* to
f.r.o/docs/releasenotes/* for example. This should not be an issue.
Using FedoraLinks.org will also allow us to link to items that are not
"Foundation Friendly" making the total amount of help wide open. 

I will get the FC5 section created tonight. More info will be posted
here once that is done.
