I am incorporating some info from Tim Waugh's site, but it should be noted that FC3 will likely obsolete most or all of this document, as noted in the Bugzilla entry by Bill Nottingham. See: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=128952 Several of the other documents were submitted by subscribers to this list. Gavin Henry sent me a link to the samba-ldap tutorial; someone else (I apologize for forgetting the name, but I'm sure it's in the archives) sent the ClamAV tutorial. I'll Bugzilla both of them. (*Note: done now.) These two tutorials still contain some atrocious style and syntax and desperately need some rewriting. Also, I am not familiar with all the subject matter, and would prefer that a more knowledgeable person test the content to make sure it's valid. In the absence of a Style Guide, I can't really demand that anyone take up the banner for these pieces (even the original submitters), but if anyone's willing to have a go at them, it would be appreciated. Karsten, I was going to suggest that folks send me their patches directly (rather than putting them in Bugzilla), so that I can prevent conflicts in the patches, as well as retain some editorial role and participate in the cleanup. Do you see any problems with using that method, if only temporarily? -- Paul W. Frields, RHCE
