I finally had time to look at this patch. You are right about the changing eps and png to EPS and PNG and adds / to the end. I forgot to change that when I converted this doc from SGML to XML. In regards to the different types of figures, what is the advantage of using different declarations? If they look the same, I would prefer to stick to one to make the code as simple as possible.
