do you see an issue with the following replication topology:

 

 

S1 <----> S2 <---> S3 <---> S4

/\                                       /\

 |                                        |

\/                                       \/

S5 <----> S6 <---> S7 <---> S8

 

All connections are bi-directional (Multi-Master)
