As there is little interest in guaranteeing a coherence between the uid and gid fields (i.e. they should exist, but do not need to be the same), creating two identical ldifs with the strings "uid" and "gid" used respectively was all that was required. Thank you again for taking the time out to explain some of the ins and outs of using the plug-in. Here's hoping that some documentation will be forthcoming ; out of curiousity, who is responsible for writing such things ?
