I tried fixing the issue and can now login but it shows the following error:

 

login as: ajrain
ajrain@389-ds's password:

#ssl start_tls

And Now it does allow login asking for password.

But When I provide pasword it throws me out of putty.

 

My 389-Supplier is on 636 port and I wonder what could be the issue.
