I knew that I would get a much faster response on the 389 mailing list. ;)From my understanding, there's no change or update in any software, and we're using RHEL 5.2 64 bits.redhat-ds-base-8.1.0-0.14.el5dsrv.x86_64.rpm
could be related to bz 391171 - libns_dshttpd wrong linkage on XP_AccLangList
which was fix through errata http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2009-0455.html for redhat-ds-base-8.1.0-0.14.el5dsrv.x86_64.rpm kind of strange, I wonder if you had prior versions installed.
I uninstall the LDAP using the /usr/sbin/ds_removal script and reinstall the LDAP using the /usr/sbin/setup-ds-admin.pl <http://setup-ds-admin.pl> with an *.inf for silent install.I'm a bit clueless on what went wrong because it was working all along. I even uninstall all the packages and reinstall the packages following the RHDS manual.- DavidOn Thu, Jan 14, 2010 at 3:50 PM, Rich Megginson <rmeggins@xxxxxxxxxx <mailto:rmeggins@xxxxxxxxxx>> wrote:Chun Tat David Chu wrote: > Hi All, > > I'm having an issue with installing the LDAP.
