In my CentOS 5.3 installation, they installed
to /usr/lib64/dirsrv/slapd-ldap2/db2bak
/usr/lib64/dirsrv/slapd-ldap2/db2bak.pl

in other words

/usr/lib64/dirsrv/<directory server instance name>/

or do you mean they disappeared after upgrading? - John
