Yep that folder exists, permissions look fine

drwxrwxrwx  3 root   nobody 4096 May  4 02:33 dirsrv
Do you have the nsslapd-rundir attribute in cn=config in /etc/dirsrv/slapd-yourinstance/dse.ldif?
