[Fedora-directory-announce] Fedora Directory Server version 1.2.0 now available

The Fedora Directory Server team are pleased to announce the release of Fedora Directory Server version 1.2.0.

* Packages & versions: fedora-ds-base-1.2.0, fedora-ds-admin-1.1.7, fedora-ds-1.1.3, fedora-idm-console-1.1.3, fedora-ds-admin-console-1.1.3, fedora-ds-console-1.2.0

* What's new?
   * Server to Server connection improvements (startTLS, SASL, Kerberos)
   * 64-bit counters
   * Ability to turn off anonymous bind operations
   * Access Control - dynamic group/role look up
   * remove-ds.pl - remove a directory server instance
* remove-ds-admin.pl - wipe out everything (for use when you run setup-ds-admin.pl and get an error, and just want to start over from scratch) * New Windows Console, Windows Password Sync - http://directory.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Download * Bug Fixes: This release contains over 200 bug fixes, including some security problems and memory leaks * https://bugzilla.redhat.com/showdependencytree.cgi?id=493682&hide_resolved=0

* Java 1.6 is now required for the console - OpenJDK/IcedTea Java 1.6 should be available on all supported platforms
