Hi,

I m writing a script to synchronize my user's password inside LDAP with a unix passwd file. Is there a way to insert the crypt passwd inside the unix passwd file directly into LDAP using ldapmodify userPassword: {crypt}"whatever appears inside /etc/passwd" ?

dn:uid=roger,ou=abc.com,dc=foo,dc=com
givenName: rico
objectClass: top
                  person
                  organizationalPerson
                  inetorgperson
              sn: rico
              cn: rico
             uid: roger
    userPassword: {crypt}HU1bbqwvbXJUY
