Yep. This version has been ported to use the new Mozilla LDAP C SDK which uses the LDAP "standard" API ber types instead of int, long, etc.

You could try to build the new mozldap - http://wiki.mozilla.org/LDAP_C_SDK - but you might be better off checking the CVS revisions for the files you are interested in and using an earlier revision. That is, use cvs log on the files in question to figure out which revision contains the fixes you want, then use cvs checkout -r or cvs update -r to grab the revision you want.

I apologize that this is such a pain. You've caught us at a bad time. The source code is being reorganized to make it easier to build, which unfortunately makes it harder to build in the old way. We are making progress. If you check fedora-directory-commits or fedora-directory-devel there are lots of beneficial changes going in.
