camera mounts, gphoto, gvfs, gthumb

I'm a little unclear how gthumb is supposed to handle cameras in the 
modern gvfs-based world. A Ubuntu user has proposed a patch here:

Could a Fedora guru take a look at that and confirm that it works for 
Fedora too?
