Thanks.  While you're at, can you also take a look at
gnome-python2-extras which your bump of the soname of libgdl also
broke?  I am trying to apply the patch for gnome-python2-extras to get
it working with new libgdl that Kevin Kofler pointed out at:

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=553911

but it won't apply, because I think it's against a SVN version.
