Hi!

If you are using squid 2.7, latest version of intelligentmirror[1] will really be helpful. I am a sysadmin at my university (a single squid server with almost 2500 clients) and we have been using the above version since two weeks now. And out of 5-6GB requests for rpm/deb packages, we serve almost 4-4.5GB from cache itself :)

In case you have squid version other than 2.7, try out this[2] version.

Hello,
I've become increasingly interested in a simple updates mirroring system to proxy/store updates for a number of fedora machines on our network. I searched google and found the instant mirror project, but it seemed somewhat dead. Is it still alive? Did some other solution replace it?
