Best practices when updating data storage formats

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi list,

wondering about good example spec files for a "storage format version
upgrade during %post" situation. The current plan involves a file in
the storage dir that declares its version, and a bit of bash
conditionals in %post to run the appropriate upgrade scripts.

Is there a good shining example of how to do it somewhere in cvs?

cheers,

m
