The Obsoletes is not high enough:

  Obsoletes: %{name}-backend-gstreamer < 4.2-2

But 4.2.0-1.fc10 is "higher", because: 4.2.0 > 4.2
Ought to be:

  Obsoletes: %{name}-backend-gstreamer < 4.2.0-2
