Use /dev/urandom, or (better yet) seed a "good" RNG (e.g., the one in glibc
or Mersenne twister) and criptographically hash its output if really
needed.

[AFAIR, the random pool is only 512 bytes in size, so it can't contain more
 "entropy" than that]
