I know this probably isn't the place to do this, but I'm not sure what
the right place is. ajax & Dave, thank you for the work you've done on
the new Xorg. I know there have been lots of complaints, and, as an
nVidia user, I understand them.
I'm a nVidia user too, the only problem(s) I experience is the displayed area is a few pixels to the right than it should be (I could fix this but it'd stuff up dual boot) and it's a bit slower than what I remember F8 to be.

I understand all the different viewpoints and reasons, we don't want our users left with out of date trash for 5 months until F10 is out, and nVidia wanted to make sure that nothing was going to change on them.

*NO ONE* is to blame, just an unfortunate coincidence of release cycles, there isn't much point delaying a release till absolutely everything is out of beta and also, it provides an excellent method for users to play a part in improving Fedora, get them to report their thoughts/problems/bugs!
However, the stuff you're working on for *all* the other drivers is
pretty incredible and more than makes up for a few weeks without
eye-candy on my primary system. The way it all works on Intel video
cards is great, and I'm particularly impressed with the DRI2 stuff
(though kernel mode-setting is pretty cool too). Please keep it up.
I think an excellent job has been done and I think credit must be given when it's due, and it is.

(Oh and can we keep this thread on a positive note, too many negative e-mails lately... just for our sanity.... please... pretty please?)
