I've just reinstalled my rawhide machine with F9 just to clear out the cruft and I'm having trouble getting back to rawhide. Aside from the tons of broken dependencies and "yum --skip-broken" not seeming to work, as soon as glibc gets updated, yum/python seems to be broken: [root@katratzi ~]# yum update yum\* Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit Setting up Update Process Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check ---> Package yum-packagekit.i386 0:0.2.1-2.20080508.fc10 set to be updated --> Processing Dependency: yum-packagekit = 0.1.12-10.20080505.fc9 for package: PackageKit --> Running transaction check --> Processing Dependency: PackageKit = 0.1.12-10.20080505.fc9 for package: PackageKit-libs ---> Package PackageKit.i386 0:0.2.1-2.20080508.fc10 set to be updated --> Running transaction check ---> Package PackageKit-libs.i386 0:0.2.1-2.20080508.fc10 set to be updated --> Finished Dependency Resolution Dependencies Resolved ============================================================================= Package Arch Version Repository Size ============================================================================= Updating: PackageKit i386 0.2.1-2.20080508.fc10 rawhide 395 k PackageKit-libs i386 0.2.1-2.20080508.fc10 rawhide 96 k yum-packagekit i386 0.2.1-2.20080508.fc10 rawhide 7.6 k Transaction Summary ============================================================================= Install 0 Package(s) Update 3 Package(s) Remove 0 Package(s) Total download size: 499 k Is this ok [y/N]: y Downloading Packages: *** glibc detected *** /usr/bin/python: double free or corruption (out): 0xbfcd4100 *** and hang forever here. Anyone having luck with rawhide at the moment?
