Man i really wish we had a collection of pre-cooked kickstart files
aimed at specific use case. I  have this gut feeling that if people
with similar server needs got together they could agree on a small
finite set of kickstart offerings that helped several easily defined
setups.

That might be neat. Perhaps if it could be integrated in the installer boot menu in some way (press F6, select your auto-install mode and off-we-go...)-ish.
