At least for me, this completely screwed up grub. No boot disk.
Had to run knoppix, and reinstall ( root & setup ) the grub boot loader.
Mine has been a "no thrills" experience:
$rpm -q kernel
kernel-2.6.25-8.fc9.i686
$ uname -a
Linux davidtnotebook 2.6.25-8.fc9.i686 #1 SMP Wed Apr 23 03:56:19 EDT
2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
$ uptime
19:42:26 up 5:26, 5 users, load average: 1.35, 0.50, 0.22
Sean: did the update complete normally, and write into /var/log/messages ?
Are you on x86_64 ?
What is the bug number ?
