I failed to install the Fedora 9 Beta toe to a video error on my system
with Intel on-board graphics (82G965).
I have the same error using both the GNOME Live CD and the classic DVD:
I have no text, no icons and no buttons visible. The only thing I can
see is underscores for keyboard accelerators (but not also their
corresponding key).
With the Live CD I don't have them either in RHGB, GDM and the desktop.
Using the normal install DVD, without text and buttons in Anaconda I
stopped right away.
Here are a few screenshots of the Live CD desktop (Anaconda is exactly
the same): http://nicubunu.ro/pictures/f9beta/
Of course, with Qemu everything works OK.
I believe I can to a text install, do a yum update and hope for the
best, but I don't think this is a sane thing to do on my primary desktop.
Any ideas?
