Executive summary:

The following drafts are now official guidelines, having been accepted
by FESCO last week:

 * Tcl packaging guidelines:
   http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/Tcl
 * Updated OCaml packaging guidelines:
   http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/OCaml

These should be written into the guidelines soon if this hasn't
already been done by the time you read this.

Issues pending FESCO ratification:

 * ASCII Naming Guidelines
  * http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/ASCIINaming
  * This is a new draft, although the issue continues from previous
    FPC and community discussion.

 * New Perl Guidelines
  * http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/Perl
  * This is a new draft this week, which replaces existing Perl
    guidelines

 * OpenOffice.org extensions guidelines
  * http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/OpenOffice.orgExtensions
  * This was previously submitted for a vote but was not complete; it
    has been resubmitted.

Other business:

 * Eclipse plugin guidelines
  * http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/EclipsePlugins
  * This has been discussed by the committee previously, and is now
    being submitted for a vote.
  * Tabled at the request of the submitter.

 * Secure BuildRoot
  * http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/SecureBuildRoot
  * A new draft this week
  * Not accepted
  * Several voters indicated that they had expressed issues with this
    draft on the fedora-packaging list.

 * Register VirtualProvides
  * http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/ProvidesList
  * A new draft this week
  * Not accepted

There were other drafts on the schedule which were not addressed due
to time. Due to the number of pending drafts (and a set of Java
guidelines coming soon) the committee will meet next week, April 1,
17:00UTC.  (Yes, April fools day.)
