Wouldn't it be awesome if during rpm build time, .desktop files were processed for Application provides of a generic enough type, as well as what mime types said application handled? Then we could do great things like expose listings of applications, with sub-listings of optional providers of said applications, instead of showing people hard to understand upstream project names by default.
