cannot access /var/lib/gdm/.gvfs: Permission denied
ls -l of that shows..
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? .gvfs/
My initial thought was 'eek, filesystem corruption'.
By default, FUSE prohibits access to mount points by other users (to
make sure FUSE can't be used to exploit other user's applications).
Does it (ls -l) look better when run as user gdm?
