I'm not really sure I want to see older version of firefox in the
Fedora repository. I understand why as a web developer you'd want
them, but I'm not sure I'd want the main Fedora repository to have
them.

Are YOU volunteering to deal with the security backporting for older
releases without the help of the current maintainer?  Firefox is
pretty high profile in terms of security issues, can you make that
commitment to keep older versions secure?

And are you sure that upstream development for firefox makes it easy
to do parallel installs in terms of keeping plugins, extensions and
themes working?
