Dear all, I meet a problem in Fedora 8 (CUPS 1.3.3) and Fedora 7,that is I cannot print to file. I have add "FileDevice Yes" in cupsd.conf, and restarted the OS. I added one Raw printer for File device successfully. When I print to it, there is a error message as following: Unable to open output file "file:/home/swteam/test.prn" - Permission denied. It can work on SUSE and Ubuntu. So I don't know what happened in Fedora? Anybody can give me some comments? Thanks in advance. Horky 2008-3-11
Not that this belongs here.. Are your running SELinux? If so do set SELinux into permissive mode You do so by open a termina and run echo 0 > /selinux/enforce Then try again to print to a file... Best regards Johann B.
