Hi all, I've been packaging openoffice.org-voikko (the Finnish spell checking and hyphenation extension for OO.o) for a while. I recently got a user request for adding it to be installed automatically and I'd like to do this. So what I'd like to do is add the following to comps-f9: diff -u -r1.284 comps-f9.xml.in --- comps-f9.xml.in 1 Mar 2008 04:10:05 -0000 1.284 +++ comps-f9.xml.in 2 Mar 2008 16:39:55 -0000 @@ -1288,6 +1288,7 @@ <packagereq type="conditional" requires="koffice-core">koffice-langpack-fi</packagereq> <packagereq type="conditional" requires="moodle">moodle-fi</packagereq> <packagereq type="conditional" requires="openoffice.org-core">openoffice.org-langpack-fi_FI</packagereq> + <packagereq type="conditional" requires="openoffice.org-core">openoffice.org-voikko</packagereq> </packagelist> </group> <group> KMail messes up the line changes, but you get the idea. I assume adding this would mean that openoffice.org-voikko and it's dependencies (libmalaga, malaga-suomi-voikko, libvoikko) would have to be added to the live images as well. Is there sufficient space to do this? Here is what yum info says about the package sizes: Name : libmalaga Arch : i386 Version: 7.11 Release: 3.fc9 Size : 87 k Name : malaga-suomi-voikko Arch : i386 Version: 1.0 Release: 1.fc9 Size : 1.2 M Name : libvoikko Arch : i386 Version: 1.6 Release: 2.fc9 Size : 40 k (libvoikko-1.6-3.fc9 will be a bit smaller, since I moved a couple of binaries to a subpackage, but it hasn't been in a rawhide push yet) Name : openoffice.org-voikko Arch : i386 Version: 2.2 Release: 2.fc9 Size : 43 k As a related matter, since the Beta release is near, I would really appreciate it if someone could take this tmispell-voikko review request: <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=427824>. The subpackage enchant-voikko would add Finnish spell checking support to a lot of Gnome apps and KDE4 and tmispell-voikko itself provides quite a nice ncurses frontend to spell checking text files with Voikko (it could also be used for spell checking in KDE3 apps and some other ispell-compatible apps by patching them or aspell, but that's not my number one priority now...) -- Ville-Pekka Vainio -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
