I went ahead and reinstalled but still can't get kernel-2.6.25-0.40.rc1.git2.fc9 working. I haven't noticed anyone else in this thread mention whether they are using encryption or not. I believe my issue is related to using encryption,.. I get an error when updating saying "no path for essiv".
