I have pushed libsmbios v2.0 to the fedora repository. All programs that link against libsmbios will need to be rebuild. This release is mostly API compatible with the old release. Some minor changes were made to fix some C++ const-correctness issues. Libsmbios v2 has several changes: 1) GCC 4.3 fixes 2) ABI-incompatible, thus the soname bumps to 2. 3) bumped the version to 2 to match the soname 4) RPM renames: libsmbios-bin -> renamed to: smbios-utils libsmbios-libs -> renamed to: libsmbios 5) The API is largely unchanged. There were some C++ const-correctness fixes to the API, so some small adjustments may need to be made to client code. 6) The unused libsmbiosxml library was dropped.
