Attempting to run debugfs on either /dev/sda2 or /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 gives me a message about a bad magic number in the superblock, so I've been reluctant to go further. However, if you think it would be helpful, Eric, I'll do it. It is, after all, just a VM.
