Fedora 9 Alpha comes with installed swfdec-mozilla packet as a flash player which doensn't work. Go to fedora-desktop mailing list and read previous posts regarding that[1][2]. You need to "yum remove swfdec-mozilla" and go to adobe site and get rpm of flash plugins if you want flash video to work. I have found bugs about flash and posted them to fedoa bz[3] and upstream[4].
