Perhaps the issue here is all the language pack extensions that you
might get in the Fedora Firefox. They might slow down startup compared
to the relatively clean upstream binaries. (This is a known problem,
btw, the question is if it's a big problem and what to do about it.)

I didn't mean the localization slows down Firefox, but when using Firefox 3 from repo I feel little slowing down compared to Firefox 3 snapshot from trunk.
