While creating the Xfce spin for Fedora 8, I noticed a few packages seem to have a bad dependency list. NetworkManager-gnome has a hard dependency on things like gnome-panel and gnome-keyring. Totem has a hard dependency on gnome-desktop and gnome-themes. system-config-display has a hard dependency on metacity. Are these really required?

gnome-keyring, gnome-desktop, metacity - definitely. You can file bugs
about the others if you feel strongly, but they may be hard requirements as
well.

I have filed a few bug report related to this. Thanks for the input.
