Hi, I have a GenuineIntel Processor (cpu family 6, model 11) with kernel-2.6.23.1-42.i686 installed. Whenever I try to do anything with the kernel (ie. install the latest kernel -49), yum insists on installing the i586 version of the old kernel. Now, I'm not an expert on CPU architectures, but I thought the Intel Pentium(R) III was an i686. Am I wrong? If not, what could have caused this and how do I fix it? yum bug? -- Richi Plana -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
