I agree that the procedures regarding packaging guidelines changes
should be followed. And bypassing them that way is not right. However I
also think that packagers can also not follow guidelines when they have
reasons to disagree and wait for someone to challenge their position and
bring the issue on the devel list, then to FESCo.
