Hmm ... I remember reading somewhere that Fluendo was looking into this.
If so, ball's in their court. In fact ... yes, there's a link on the
Fedora bugzilla pointing to Fluendo's bug report. Last Fluendo reply was
from Christian on 06/07/07 16:35:08. If they could get back a timeframe,
then Fedora could decide whether a near-term, temporary fix should be
implemented:

It should be noted that for Fedora advocacy's or PR sake, I've already
read one article that slams Fedora for (among other things) a faulty
Codec Buddy. Again, it's a matter of perception.
