OK. Did that. Now:

yum upgrade
Loading "refresh-updatesd" plugin
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=fedora-8&arch=x86_64

The mirrorlist among other things are down with the traffic from Fedora 8 downloads. Fedora infrastructure team is working on resolving this. Try again later.
