I didn't manage to test it before but not that I have tested Fedora 8 RC3 here are the most obvious bugs I came across: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=366001 - PulseAudio distorts audio (over amplification) https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=366041 - anaconda manual partition weridness https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=355291 - RFE: Allow fluendo codecs to work with SELinux enabled https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=236881 - Firefox doesn't install Flash plugin when it is needed and absent These bugs are the ones that most average desktop users are going to notice. The most obvious is the audio distortion bug because everything sounds just terrible! :( On more positive side I must admit I'm impressed with performance of wireless and suspend on few laptops I have tested fedora 8 RC3 - it JustWorks(tm) :) Hope this helps, Valent. -- http://kernelreloaded.blog385.com/ linux, blog, anime, spirituality, windsurf, wireless registered as user #367004 with the Linux Counter, http://counter.li.org.
