It's not bigger but GNOME now honors xorg dpi computations instead of mindlessly forcing 96dpi. That means if your hardware is not actually 96dpi the font sizes are now computed differently. You'll just have to get used to correct font scaling (the same as in KDE BTW). Or adjust DisplaySize in xorg.conf if xorg-detected screen dimensions is wrong. Regards, -- Nicolas Mailhot
