It has been asked and refused before. I personally think a lot more people are wanting a Live CD even in their x86_64 boxes. I was told that everybody who has a x86_64 box would also have a DVD drive anyway but the number of people who have been asking for this seems to make that assumption ineffective.

Do I detect a respin? Seriously though I don't see any reason why we don't carry a live CD. People just getting into Linux don't use new boxes anyway, they use some spare box (at least I did).
