I consider the rpm database to be transient on the system as well. When I'm restoring the system, I'm not restoring an exact copy, most often I'm doing a fresh install with the same /manifest/ and dropping the backed up data in place. -- Jesse Keating Fedora -- All my bits are free, are yours?
