Ah, I didn't know how to find that in koji, thanks.

On closer inspection, there are after all some differences in the plugins' 
Makefiles - all of them use awk, but the builds of the succeeded ones do not 
need the stuff that is extracted with awk whereas the failed ones do, so 
there's a rational explanation after all.  Sorry about the noise.
