I suspect that we won't be able to get them fixed for test1 purely due to timing (although if they get built early today, there's a slight chance). But having a caveat of "you can only test this if you don't have a separate /usr" isn't terrible for test1. Especially as the rest of the support also requires changes which aren't in packages yet...
